With an initial consultation and setup, Goodfeather Farms can design the perfect edible landscape based on your family’s needs and your unique yard capabilities. By adding some beautiful
raised gardening beds all the way up to your own micro chicken coop and run, Goodfeather Farms will initiate your backyard farming process for you by building your garden beds and coop, prepping and planting your garden, stocking your chickens with some of our finest stock, providing the feed and bedding, and even providing a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly maintenance service, including rotational crop planting, coop-cleaning, health inspections, and even chicken baths! All you’ll need to do is pick your produce and eggs for dinner each night!
In addition to our unique Backyard Farm Club program, we also provide mobile livestock services for the hobby farmer including out-of-town care for all your animals, large and small. While it’s easy to find a pet-sitter to take care of your dog or cat while you travel, most farmers know that its difficult to leave home for an extended period of time because of the animals still under their care. For many, you’d have to search far and wide to find a domestic pet-sitter that is knowledgeable enough to care for livestock animals. Fortunately, livestock is kind of our forte. Goodfeather Farms is also an FWC registered Wildlife Removal Provider. If you have some pesky critters getting into where they don’t belong, contact Goodfeather Farms for humane Wildlife Removal. We regularly trap species such as bobcats, foxes, raccoons, opossums, armadillos, snakes, squirrels, etc. The only limitations to our removal services are protected, endangered, dangerous or otherwise regulated species (FWC handles those) and venomous snakes. Non-venomous snakes are no problem!
